    Homework diary notes, absence letters and anything that needs your signature. Tap Acknowledge where you would have signed the book.

    Teachers take the register on Slooch. If your child is marked absent, you can explain it in the app the same day.

  • Fees and exemptions

    Statements and payments, and the application for a full or partial fee exemption, which only the finance office and the governing body's committee see.

  • Forms and consent

    Consent, medical and contact forms, with a receipt when you submit. A form stays on your list until it is done, not just read.

  • Collection

    The people allowed to collect your child, and same-day changes the front office checks before the gate.

The Slooch apps

Which one you use depends on your role at Ridgeview Primary School. Each opens once you have signed in.

Put Slooch on your iPhone

Slooch installs from Safari, so there is nothing to download from the App Store. It opens full screen, like any other app.

  1. Step 1: Open this page in Safari

    Go to ridgeview.slooch.app in Safari, the browser with the blue compass.

  2. Step 2: Tap Share

    The square with an arrow pointing up, at the bottom of the screen.

  3. Step 3: Tap Add to Home Screen, then Add

    Scroll down the list if you don't see it. The Slooch icon appears on your home screen.

  4. Step 4: Open Slooch and sign in

    Use the cellphone number or email Ridgeview Primary School has for you. Slooch sends a 6-digit code.

When you sign in, Slooch asks to send notifications; on an iPhone that needs iOS 16.4 or later. A lock-screen preview only says that a private update is available. Marks, balances and medical details stay inside the app.
